Mission and purpose

Travel for good

We are driven by a deep belief that education through travel is critical in the development of all young people. We strive for real, sustainable change to both the perspectives of our students, and to the communities we work and partner with around the world.

We believe life should be infused with adventure, fun, friendships and service with others. Now more than ever, we want to encourage young people to step out into the world and create meaningful connections with other people and their planet.

OUR VISION

Our vision is for a more equitable world where people feel inspired to work together in caring for each other and the planet.

OUR RESPONSIBILITY

We believe in responsible travel in every way. We’re committed to more than just minimising our impact; we’re also focused on making a real positive difference in the world. That means supporting local communities, standing up for human rights, protecting wildlife, and preserving the environment. These values aren’t just words; they’re part of who we are and what we do every day, and instilled in all aspects of our educational travel programs

We believe travel can be used as a force for good in the world. Guided by Infuse’s Theory of Change and in alignment with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, our programs are designed with the utmost integrity.

Our Mission

Promoting active citizenship through experiential learning programs that create positive change for people and the planet.

Our commitment to
sustainable travel

Infuse Travel is at the forefront of sustainable student travel, built on the core pillars of social justice, environmental integrity, and economic development.

Certified B Corp, we recognise the potential negative impacts of travel, and actively work towards reducing waste and minimising consumption. Our commitment extends to recycling efforts, cutting down on single-use plastics, and engaging in service projects focused on environmental conservation, such as protecting coral reefs and planting coastal trees. We acknowledge Earth as our shared home and embrace a responsibility to protect it from climate change, pollution and unsustainable practices.

  • We are a Certified B Corp
  • Alignment with UN Goals for Sustainable Development
  • In depth collaboration with local partners.
Their priorities are our priorities
  • Long term partnerships
  • No orphanage or tokenistic school visits
  • No wildlife tourism, only conservation
We focus on long term relationships with local partners. Their priority is our priority.

Collaboration lies at the heart of our sustainability efforts, involving partnerships with community leaders, NGOs and local governments. From educational projects to building infrastructure and environmental conservation, our initiatives respond directly to local needs. We also ensure our service projects are appropriate for young people to assist on – you’ll find no tokenistic projects or orphanage visits here.

Travel with Infuse goes beyond personal enrichment, serving as a positive force for change in the world. We prioritise deep, long-term relationships with the communities we engage with, ensuring authentic connections for our students. By exclusively using local providers and facilitating fundraising for community projects, we not only offer unique travel experiences but also ensure that every dollar spent directly benefits the local communities we operate in.

How we contribute to change

We know where we want to go, but how do we get there? Guided by Infuse’s Director of Impact, Infuse has developed a set of guidelines that help to shape our evidence-based, program strategies and outlines the key challenges we hope to positively impact through our work. This is our ‘Theory of Change.’

The Infuse Theory of Change addresses three key challenges; disadvantage and discrimination, feeling of powerlessness towards addressing our biggest global priorities, and a preference for adopting quick-fixes and simple technical solutions when trying to resolve complex challenges.
