March is B Corp Month! This is a time to reflect on what it really means to be a business that exists for more than profit, and for B Corp organisations (that’s us!) to connect and celebrate the shared values that unite our community.
Being a Certified B Corporation means making measurable social and environmental impact. It means translating our values into practice, and practice into progress. And with the new B Lab Standards for B Corp Certification challenging us to raise the bar even higher, being a B Corp is just the beginning of the changes we aim to achieve.
This month we chose to celebrate B Corp Month by stepping away from our desks and spending time alongside the organisations we partner with across Australia. Our focus was not about what we could achieve in a (single) day of volunteering, but about spending time with the valued partners that we work with to bring about collective change.
Connecting with partners across Australia
Across the country, our team immersed themselves in hands-on experiences with our community service partners. In Victoria our staff travelled to Geelong to support the team at Our Village. Our Village supports families in need by providing necessities such as clothes, toys, and baby care products and equipment.
Infuse is also donating a day of coach transportation to KsafeT, a social enterprise first aid training company. KsafeT is thanking the volunteers of Feed Me (Sure Coast) by providing them with a day trip to Peninsula Hot Springs, who’ve also donated bathing and lunch to the volunteers. Feed Me is a registered charity that addresses a serious issue in Victoria that largely goes unnoticed – hunger. Food rescue is the foundation of Feed Me; a foundation built on to provide many vulnerable families and communities with a regular supply of fresh nutritious food.
Operating in Bellarine, Geelong, Surf Coast, Feed Me has created community spaces run primarily by volunteers that can rescue, reuse and re-purpose food waste with respect and dignity for the product and for the people that consuming the products. Infuse has also directly partnered with Feed Me in Ocean Grove for the last few years to prepare meals.

In New South Wales, our team joined Our Big Kitchen, preparing meals for those experiencing food insecurity. These meals are meticulously crafted to meet diverse dietary needs and preferences, ensuring that each recipient receives not only sustenance but also a comforting sense of community support.

On the Sunshine Coast, our staff visited Waves of Kindness, the Sunshine Coast’s largest Op Shop. Money raised from the shop goes directly back into our community, helping to support local school families, Brekky clubs, a Care Centre, and other important community programs that give people a helping hand when they need it most. We also connected with Agile Wallabies Project in Far North Queensland for some strategic planning discussions.

The bigger picture
The organisations we partner with are working on some of the most pressing challenges facing our communities and environment:
- Food insecurity affects more than 3.7 million households in Australia each year, with demand for food relief services continuing to rise.
- Social inequality, the rising cost of living crisis and access to opportunity continue to shape the experiences of many communities, reinforcing the need for inclusive, community-led initiatives. According to the Australian Council of Social Services (ACOSS) 3.7 million people (14.2%) live in relative poverty in Australia, including 757,000 children.
Spending time alongside our partners brings these realities into sharper focus. It reinforces why this work matters and why it must be sustained over the long term.
Working towards continuous improvement
B Corp Month is a reminder that the work is ongoing. It is not defined by a single initiative or moment, but by consistent collective action and improvement over time. Because behind that simple ‘B’ symbol is something much more powerful. A shared commitment to doing better, together!
