Accommodation
There are various accommodation options that we can offer in Fiji; it depends on the experience you’re seeking.
South Pacific Eco-Lodge
The property features 16 bures with a mix of dormitory-style and private rooms with queen-size beds. At the centre is the Kana Deck – a covered dining area that flows into an open deck – with access to hot water and tea throughout the day. Behind it are modern communal toilets and solar-powered showers. Read more about our Fiji Bases here.
The grounds include a swimming pool, hammocks strung between coconut trees, bonfire spots and open areas for yoga, meditation or group activities. There’s also a café, a sports field for rugby or soccer, and an organic farm that supplies most of the fresh produce. Set among tropical gardens and swaying palms, it’s a peaceful space designed for connection, reflection and outdoor living.
Highlands Immersion & Service Base
The Highlands Base includes both our Village Bure, and our Farm House. The Village Bure is a traditional Fijian-style home designed to provide a central place to share time and meals. The Farm House offers the opportunity to engage with locals in daily life in this stunning valley. Programs that visit our Highlands Base allow students to live alongside local families, follow the rhythms of their daily lives, and get involved in our service initiatives.
Somosomo Islands Base
Located on a breathtaking stretch of pure white sand, Toba Totoka is a slice of heaven in the South Pacific. We have worked to make this base a sustainable and eco-friendly place that allows us to live in harmony with the surrounding environment. From sleeping in large safari style tents, eating freshly caught seafood, growing organic produce and developing positive partnerships with our village neighbours, this base truly embraces simple island living.

Born in New Zealand and living between Australia and Fiji, Evan joined Infuse Travel in 1993. With a degree in business and a commitment to Fijian communities, Evan proudly manages our South Pacific operations. Outside our Eco-Lodge Base, he enjoys time with his family and races in long-distance running events.

Infuse Travel offers a range of educational travel programs in Fiji that focus on cultural immersion, service learning and adventure. Specific tours for schools include Fiji Reef Sustainability and Service, Fiji Highlands Service Learning Adventure and the Ridge to Reef Expedition. Infuse also offers a Fiji Teacher Professional Development Program for educators. Our school group programs are curriculum-aligned and focus on sustainability and leadership while our educator-specific programs provide professional growth and mentoring in Momi Bay.
Students achieve curriculum-aligned outcomes in Global Citizenship Education (GCE) and Education for Sustainable Development (EfSD) through hands-on community projects. Evaluation data from 2025 shows that 85% of students reporting increased knowledge in global citizenship, with many successfully documenting these hours for International Baccalaureate (IB) CAS or Duke of Edinburgh requirements.
Students participate in community-led serviced initiatives such as helping to build sanitation facilities, supporting meal programs, environmental sustainability projects and marine eco-system monitoring. Projects are co-designed with local village and community leaders to ensure they address genuine needs.
Students can engage in cultural exchanges by experiencing a homestay with local families, participating in traditional ceremonies, and/or learning about the customs and way of life in island communities. Infuse runs regular workshops and activities with local guides to immerse students in this welcoming and special culture.
Yes, our Fiji travel programs can meet Creativity, Activity and Service (CAS) requirements for the IB Diploma and other leadership frameworks. Students can document their service hours and leadership roles during the program to fulfil these requirements. Infuse will work with each school individually to meet specific curriculum outcomes.
