Infuse offers a range of specialised programs that advance the priorities of the Australian Curriculum, providing students with real-world experience to ground their intellectual understanding.

Our programs help students understand how ideas of Australian identity are influenced by global connectedness, as well as to consider their roles and responsibilities as global citizens.Infuse designs and delivers sustainable travel programs for schools that have been carefully designed to support the Australian Curriculum in three key areas.
1. Global Citizenship
Global citizenship and civics are central to what it means to be an educated person in the 21st century. The Australian national curriculum recognises the importance of developing young Australians into competent and informed global citizens with strong intercultural communication skills. Our cultural immersion programs provide students with the knowledge and skills to work effectively across cultural boundaries within Australia and beyond.
2. Cross Curriculum Priorities
Alongside its commitment to global citizenship, the Australian Curriculum also focuses on three cross curriculum priorities for 21st century learning. These are:
1. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Histories and Culture
2. Asia and Australia’s engagement with Asia
3. Sustainability
Our outdoor education, Aboriginal cultural immersions and international service-learning programs all provide learning experiences that are aligned with these cross curriculum priorities.

How Infuse programs align with the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award
The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award is a leading structured (non-formal education) youth development program, empowering all young Australians aged 14-24 to explore their full potential and find their purpose, passion and place in the world, regardless of their location or circumstance.
To achieve an Award, participants must learn a skill, improve their physical wellbeing, volunteer in their community and experience a team adventure in a new environment. The award has three levels – Bronze, Silver, and Gold – and four sections – Physical Recreation, Skills, Voluntary Service, Adventurous Journey.
Infuse provides a range of specialist programs designed to support Duke of Ed students in completing all four sections of the Award. In addition, our learning focus on critical global citizenship education and on youth development support five of the Award’s seven impact framework points.
- Improved health and well-being: Increasing young people’s physical fitness, and their own sense of emotional and mental well-being.
- Increased participation in civic life: Increasing young people’s involvement in volunteering and community activities, and their participation in the social and political life of their community.
- Social inclusion: Improving community integration, acceptance of individual differences, and increasing the access of all young people to development opportunities.
- The environment: Increasing young people’s awareness of environmental issues, and involvement in sustainability initiatives.
- Gender equality and the empowerment of women: Bridging the gender gap and empowering marginalised young women, building their self-worth and enabling them to demonstrate their potential.

Experiential education is an integral part of the IB program, as it encourages students to learn by doing, reflecting, and taking action. By participating in hands-on, immersive experiences, our students are able to connect their classroom learning with real-world situations and develop a deeper understanding of the concepts and theories they are studying. This type of learning also helps students to develop important skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration, which are essential for success both in and outside of the classroom.
