Depart for Cambodia with your teachers and meet your Infuse Program Leaders on arrival in Phnom Penh. Your itinerary today will depend on flight schedules. Once you’ve arrived, transfer to your hotel, freshen up and then head out for a delicious Khmer dinner.

During the evening, your Program Leaders will run an orientation session on the Cambodia student tour to help you acclimatise to your new environment.

Arun-sure-sdey! Start the day with a language lesson from our Cambodian staff, then head out for a walking tour of Phnom Penh, where you’ll explore the markets and then tour the Royal Palace.

After lunch, visit cultural and historical locations in Phnom Penh. Then, head to Tuol Sleng, a former school that was used as a prison and has since been converted into a museum to educate visitors about the country’s genocide. After, visit the Killing Fields of Choeung Ek.

Head to Kampong Cham to the site of your international service learning project. You’ll meet our partner NGO which works to empower and help women, children and marginalised members of the Kampong Cham community in housing, education, health and income generation. You’ll then receive a site briefing and an orientation to the international service learning project purpose.

Spend 4 days working on the international service learning project, building a wooden house to provide secure housing for a local family. The foundations will be laid before your arrival and you will work alongside builders and tradesmen to assist with flooring, cladding, concreting, painting and manual labour.

At the end of your 4 days, hand over the house to the family with the blessing of a local monk. Through your building work, you can make a significant impact in a short period.

Next up on the student trip to Cambodia is a road trip through the countryside to Siem Reap where you’ll explore the famous night markets for some local souvenirs.

After dinner, head to the Cambodian Circus, Phare. This is an inspiring show of acrobatics performed by students from Phare Ponleu Selpak, an organisation that educates disadvantaged youth through the power of the arts. It’s one of the highlights of the student trip to Cambodia!

Wake up early for a morning exploring the magnificent Angkor Wat and the ancient Khmer Empire. See the intricate carvings of Angkor's historical battle scenes and climb to the top of the highest tower to see the temples from a new perspective.

Then travel to Bayon to see the huge, carved faces in rock and make your way to the shady temple of Ta Prohm, where massive trees have given this ruin a fairytale-like feel.

After a day of ancient adventures on this Cambodia school tour, enjoy a final Khmer dinner with your group and reflect on the incredible and insightful experiences you’ve had.

It’s time to say goodbye to Cambodia and end your illuminating international service learning project.

After some final group photos with Team Cambodia, your Program Leaders will take you to the airport for your departure as you say goodbye. We genuinely hope your time spent here, the experiences you’ve shared and the things you’ve reflected on will stay with you for a lifetime.
