You’ll hit the ground running and immediately travel to the stunning Bin El Ouidane Lake in the High Atlas Mountains, the largest mountain range in North Africa. Located about 3 hours from Casablanca airport, you’ll spend the night at this remote mountain lake while orienting yourself to the student trip to Morocco and getting to know fellow members of your group.
Take some time to soak in the peaceful atmosphere of this majestic crystalline lake and enjoy the reflection of the rugged mountains that surround it.
From Bin El Ouidane Lake, we’ll depart for a quaint Berber village nestled in the High Atlas Mountains. As we journey through the rugged mountain landscape, be sure to look out the window at the magnificent scenery around you. When we arrive in the village, make yourself comfortable - this will be your home for the next 4 nights on this Morocco student trip.
The next 3 days of this international student travel program are all about immersion and community service. First, begin by sitting down with locals and learning some French, which is widely spoken across the country. Even a few words will really help you out on this student trip to Morocco!
Then you’ll head to the service site, where you'll contribute to grassroots projects developed in collaboration with the local community. The projects will vary according to time of year and community need but may involve participating in English enrichment programs for children at a local school, assisting with a construction project in the village or helping local farmers with their harvest.
In the evenings, gather as a group to discuss your service, reflect on its impact on the community and yourself and share insights from the experience.

Journey through the towering peaks of the High Atlas Mountains as you make your way to the dynamic city of Marrakech, a vibrant blend of ancient history, rich culture and bustling souqs, set against the backdrop of the majestic Atlas Mountains. Along the way, pause for lunch at the stunning Cascades d’Ouzoud Waterfall and enjoy a short hike.
Today on the student trip to Morocco, you will get to experience Marrakech, a mesmerising city where bustling markets, stunning palaces and lush gardens come together to create a unique blend of traditional Moroccan charm and modern energy. Explore the city’s world-famous souqs, full of fascinating wares—everything from magic boxes to ostrich eggs and whale vertebrae. Continue your tour of the city by visiting Ben Youssef Madrasa, Bahia Palace and an authentic spice shop.
Conclude your day with dinner in Jamaâ El-Fna Square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Weave your way through the stands to find a good seat and enjoy a warm bowl of soup, skewers and mint tea.
All adventures must come to an end and today you will finish your international student travel program. Your Program Leaders will take you to the airport for your departure as you say goodbyes and reflect on your adventure in Morocco.
