For the first night, we'll adventure out to Sky Tower, the tallest building in New Zealand. If you’re feeling brave, you can take an add-on SkyJump or SkyWalk high above the city lights. You’ll raft through class 3 and class 4 rapids while enjoying the canyons and rainforest above the river. It's a breathtaking place! Overnight: Māori MaraeToday, we’ll venture into an incredible volcanic landscape filled with hot springs and bubbling mud pools. Stroll through the stunning Hidden Valley and explore the thermal Ruatapu Cave, which descends over 36 metres to the "Pool of Mirrors." As you take a nature walk through this pristine geothermal paradise, be amazed by the boiling hot springs and the vibrant colours surrounding you.
Overnight: Taupo HostelToday’s itinerary is flexible, giving everyone the chance to enjoy the numerous exciting activities available in Taupo! For the adventurous, check something off your New Zealand student travel bucket list with bungee jumping or skydiving! Discover the city of Taupo or go for a hike with your group around the lake. Later, unwind with a soothing soak in the natural hot springs along the river before heading to Auckland in the afternoon.
